Service Description

**This training is approved for 3 CECs from the NASW.** In this training participants will learn the history that has contributed to current systemic problems for communities of color. The training will provide insight into the distrust of systems such as medical, judicial and educational systems within communities of color. The training will provide an understanding of racial trauma and teach how to start the conversation on how to heal from racial trauma. Attendees will: 1. Explore historical and current systemic problems related to communities of color. 2. Understand the reasons for multisystemic distrust including the medical, justice, and educational systems. 3. Be able to define racial trauma. 4. Explore starting conversations regarding healing from racial trauma. Attendance Policy: In order to collect the 3 CECs attendees must be present through the entire duration of the training. ***Contact for group rates***
